Welcome to the Tab-tag project. A pioneering global project developed to empower patients to understand when to take their medication. Patients are often handed complicated prescriptions with a list of medication to taken at specific times in specific doses, in addition sometimes pharmacies also provide counter instructions or alternate medication with more instructions. We tend to ignore that a patient by definition is a person who is unwell and unable to take care of themselves. And yet, we burden them with hard to remember information and expect them to follow these instructions accurately without any change everyday. And it can be a scary propect for the elderly, the economically challenged, the visually impaired and people of all age groups in general, leading to our loved ones to abandon the medication in frustration. Having tracked this behaviour across all platforms, leads us to the conclusion that in the patient's mind, the taking of medication has become a dreaded task. This trend can lead to negative consequences, least of which is that the medication loses its effectiveness calling a doctor' ability into question. And yet, this behaviour can easily be corrected by presenting this information to the user in simpler way in which the user does not have to remember anything at all. This simple fact served as the inspiration to the founders of this project to drive this simple product into the mainstream globally. By attaching the Tab-tag to a prescription or even to the medication itself, a patient has to merely take a look at the prescription and when and how to take it becomes clear in a picteresque format. This not only gives the patient a sense of independence regarding his/her medical care but also ensures peace of mind. The founders believe in giving back to the community and hence have worked hard spending their own time and resources with an excellent team to ensure the creation and distribution of a million Tab-tags for free in the initial phase of the project. This social cause is close to our hearts we continue to work hard to distribute a million free Tab-tags initially in selected states of India. We aim to create a positive impact in the quality of life of patients and we call upon you as a socially conscious individual to please spread this message and create awareness at a global scale regarding the the Tab-tag project.
